Our Company History
Heine Insurance Agency, Inc was started over 55 years ago by John R. Heine, who originally operated the office out of the Masonic Building on 3rd Street in downtown Faribault until 1978. In 1978, John purchased the former Salvation Army Building at 23 3rd Street NW and renovated it into offices. The Heine Agency has been at this downtown Faribault location now for over 55 years.
In 1976, John's son Robert (Bob) Heine joined the agency. Bob owned and operated the agency until 2018 when he sold the business to his son William (Bill) Heine. Bill has been working at the agency since 2004, and we now have three generations of the Heine family that have ran the Heine Agency, Inc. business in downtown Faribault.
